Some compensation for everything coming to a sudden halt this year has been the opportunity to address an accumulating list of jobs and projects. One of these was the building of a bridge over the section of a fast-flowing brook which runs through our field at the bottom of the valley. I had been up on the hills and admired a bridge which had been built over a small river. I photographed it for future reference and it provided the basis for the design. Here are some images to show the process and the final result.
